Got comments, questions or just looking for information?  Enter  your comments/questions and wait for a reply from someone who has the info. Don’t panic if the entry doesn’t show up immediately we will get it posted.

When using the Calendar, move the cursor over the underlined info and left click to pull up additional details (e.g. March 31st 2012 Tuber Sale)

When using the Blog under Membership, move the cursor over membership to pull up the blog, move the cursor over blog and left click to show the comments, move the cursor over comments and left click to pull up the comments,move the cursor over reply and left click to leave your questions or answers.

  1. Oh no! I left my dahlias in the ground too long after the first frost. They are now sprouting! What do I do with the new sprouts that are about 14 inch or more? Thanks for your help with this, Lois

    1. The sprouted eyes will be OK, just handle them gently and when you check your tubers before Christmas if they have turned black, cut them off close to the tuber.

  2. I don’t know about your sprouts but I have another question regarding tubers. We had a late frost (September 29). We cut our plants back and have let them set until today. While washing the dug tubers, the skin seems to be very tender. The water pressure is removing some of the skin. Will these tubers keep over winter?
