Jeanne Helen Carter
July 3, 1948 - September 27, 2020
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanne Helen Carter on September 27, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded with love, at home with her family by her side. Jeanne enriched countless lives through her boundless kindness and generosity.
She was a passionate educator, specializing in supporting students with severe developmental challenges, and was a tireless proponent for those who couldn’t advocate for themselves. She and her husband Bill fulfilled their lifelong dreams of travelling the world with close friends. She cultivated beauty through her dedication to flowers and gardening. Their award-winning yard was the envy of the neighborhood.
We will greatly miss Jeanne Carter who was an active and involved member of our club. Jeanne and Bill’s yard in Edmonton was a showcase of dahlias. In a small city lot they planted close to 300 dahlias and it was beautiful!
